How do I get involved?
“The Big Brain Theory had an amazing time at the 2011 Each year, the Y is able to provide much needed resources to respond to our community needs such as homelessness; food security and illiteracy through successful programs and services thanks to many community partners, volunteers, donors and fundraising events. Each of the programs ReConnect, Youth Tutor Club, Youth Zone, Caring Community Food Center and Community Garden are offered free of charge to members of our community. “I’ve seen first hand how the Y helps make our community a better place to live” says Kevin Silliker, Volunteer Committee Member and Emcee of the event. “The YMCA has been in our community for over 140 years, and as a charity has developed trusted relationships and has the physical presence to deliver lasting personal social change and address urgent community problems. Being a part of this event and change in our community is a no-brainer!”
