Are you looking for a summer filled with fun, excitement and amazing opportunities??? Then look no further than the YMCA of Greater Moncton!!! This summer we invite YOU to take part in our ALL NEW "Counselors in Training Club". Spend your summer developing your leadership skills, making new friends and participating in awesome activities that you'll never forget!

Open to ages 13-16 years
Max 12 Participants

CIT CLUB participants are exposed to training in the following areas:

  • Activity Planning
  • Inclusiveness
  • Leadership
  • Resume Building
  • Interview Skills

In addition to developing leadership skills by working hands on with our Summer Day Campers, participants will also have a chance to take part in all kinds of fun activities from Summer Camp swim times and outings, to Bowling, Magic Mountain and overnighter events just for them!

Program starts July 6th and runs until September 3rd. (Fees may be applied for outings as determined throughout the summer).

* Participants attend a one day training here at the YMCA on 6th and are then placed as volunteers in our Summer Day Camps according to a schedule worked out between the C.I.T Coordinator and the youth (minimum 10 hours/week).
