Wellness Center: New Equipment PDF Print E-mail
As we approach our 6th year Anniversary, we are making investments in the building and equipment in order to better serve our members and improve your overall experience.

We are excited to enter Phase One of our 3-year plan to upgrade cardio equipment. Our focus is on replacing the cardio equipment; as the strength training equipment has a longer lifespan. This summer we will be replacing 8 treadmills, 3 recumbent bikes, and 10 cyclefit (spinning) bikes. Since we will be replacing the cardio with newer versions, you can also expect a few more "bells and whistles".

Please continue reading the learn more about:

  • New Cardio Equipment

Replacing Old Equipment with Leading Edge Technology

As we progress through the 3-year plan, we will be adding some highly requested cardio machines to the floor; however, our first priority is to replace the highly used equipment in order to minimize break downs. Our treadmills, for example, have each taken our members between 80 000 to 100 000km on average since we first opened. The treadmills with TVs have the highest usage. The new equipment will also have iPod and USB docks with more television channels to choose from. By 2012, virtually all cardio equipment will have these new features. The new recumbent bikes will be "easy access" making it easier for members of all body types to use them, and the new cyclefit bikes will have computers which will arrive this Fall.
