YMCA Fitness Consultants are committed to helping you improve your physical fitness, health, and overall quality of life. Through one-on-one encouragement and guidance, our Fitness Consultants help you to determine and achieve your personal fitness goals, and aid in the development of your very own personal program. Best of all, it's included with your YMCA Membership!

Private Personal Training

The YMCA of Greater Moncton uses a multi-faceted approach in its fitness training that generates results by enabling participants to feel challenged and empowered to take personal performance to new levels. 

We integrate scientifically proven training methods with an exciting approach that is both innovative and purposeful.  Everything our clients do is strategically designed to contribute to more powerful, functional performance.

Our approach encompasses the fields of human movement, sports medicine and exercise physiology.  Our focus is on providing clients with a clear and progressive pathway to reach their goals and fulfill their personal potential in health and life.

3 Sessions $99                         ($33.00 per session)

6 Sessions $192                       ($32.00 per session)

12 Sessions $360                     ($30.00 per session)     *All prices include tax.

Your YMCA Personal Trainer will:

Schedule exclusive appointments that satisfy your scheduleHelp you establish realistic goals, continually adjusting your workout to keep pace with your changing needsSupervise your exercise, and give you ongoing feedback to maximize the effectiveness of your workoutWork with your physician and physical therapist where needed to help you recover from injury and make a smooth transition from rehabilitation treatment to regular workouts.

Fitness Testing

Without a measurable goal it is impossible to track your progress.  Our fully certified Fitness Trainers are offering Pre/Post Fitness Assessments to help you monitor your success for 2012. The assessment includes tests from the 4 components of fitness: Strength, Cardiovascular, Flexibility & Balance.

Body Composition

When one declares that they want to "lose weight", what they often mean is that they want to lose fat. Understanding your body fat percentage can also help you determine if your weight loss goals are realistic.

Technogym Wellness Key

The Wellness Key puts you on the fast track toward your goals by analyzing caloric expenditure, distance travelled, attendance, exercise technique and instruction while accurately creating a realistic timeline for your personal achievement.
