YMCA Financial Assistance Program

At the YMCA of Greater Moncton, we understands that fitness and recreation are proven to have a positive impact on low income children, youth and families, dramatically enhancing their health and overall wellbeing, both today and well into the future.

Children should never be denied participation because of inability to pay.

In 2009 we helped over 1,000 families to stay active and healthy with a YMCA membership. In partnership with city of Moncton & Canadian Tire Jump Start Program, the YMCA now provides financial assistance for individuals or families residing in the Greater Moncton area who are unable to afford basic registration or activity fees for recreation/culture programs in or outside the YMCA.

HOW IT WORKS

  • The program is for children and youth between 4 and 18 years of age.
  • The program is open to residents in southeastern New Brunswick.
  • Applications will be approved only if guidelines are met and funding is still available.
  • Funding will be provided directly to the organization (not to the parent/guardian).

GETTING STARTED

Financial Assistance is available for both membership and program fees. Forms may be picked up at the Membership Services Desk or download our form below:
